Lauren Yen

Lauren Yen is a Master's student at the USC Keck School of Medicine. She has served the Commission since 2019, and was the primary researcher and author of the 2020 Los Angeles Health Commission Report. She is the CEO of Frontida Records, a digital health technology company, and the co-founder of Torch, a non-profit focused on providing low-cost, low-tech solutions to increase comfort in tents and makeshift structures for the homeless in Los Angeles. She also conducted medical and public health research at the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, the USC Keck School of Medicine, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
